About Lluïsa Vilà

I was born in Lleida in 1962 and have lived in Tarragona for nearly 22 years.
I opened my own shop in the city-centre of Tarragona and dressed many brides during 17 years. There, I came to realise that YOU exist: a girl who is sure of herself and who has her own ideas. A woman who does not wish to dress in white like so many other women on the day she marries the man she loves – because you are DIFFERENT too – just like me.
From this epiphany I began to create my own collections which were completely different from the traditional styles.
I was inspired by nature, by history – one could say, by the simple things in life.
As designer of this line, my aim is to see in front of me, a bridal gown which has never been seen before.
At present I am living and working in my design studio in the rural scenery of Vallclara (Tarragona), from where I am permanently in contact with YOU.
